The Challenge

ManagedMissions software allows churches and organizations to plan their short-term missions efficiently from beginning to end. It facilitates several processes such as team collaboration by sending quick emails to the whole group or individual team members. The software allows people to apply online to their mission trips with their own application questions and customized signup process. The software provides online donation support with donor management, and general trip management by configuring mission trip meetings, tasks, goals, budget, fundraising, imports, exports, API, and much more.

Proximity jumped in to give full stack support and to work on several tasks like improving existing features, and adding new functionalities and sections. The team has been helping to convert existing pages into responsive ones, and resolving specific customer bugs and technical questions.

The Solution

Proximity follows scrum-based Agile software development where the client gets full transparency into the development cycle, including a constant line of communication, frequent exchange of artifacts and builds, and real-time collaboration.

On a daily basis, the Proximity developer works on tickets that are placed by the Project Manager and Tech Lead on the client’s side; these are usually improvements or new features to the app. Also, there is a ticket system where users of the app can report bugs and issues.
